Two Christian men have been violently tortured and badly beaten in Iran’s prisons.

Silas Rabbani, a deacon of the Church of Iran in Karaj, was arrested on May 5 by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security. Upon his arrest he was informed of the groups’ plan to arrest other Christians. He is now under control of the Revolutionary Guards in Gohardasht Prison where he has reported being tortured.

Amin Khaki was part of a group of eight other Christians who were detained and interrogated following a group picnic on March 5. Although most of them were later released, Amin Khaki and two others were arrested. Amin Khaki was transferred to Ahwaz Prison on May 7, where he claims to have been badly beaten.
