Canon Stephen Davis, a special adviser to the President of Nigeria in the attempts to find and recover the Chibok girls, still missing since April, has returned to Australia and spoken to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

He says he managed to smuggle out of the country footage of a handful of schoolgirls who escaped from Boko Haram. They detail the atrocities they endured, including being raped almost on a daily basis. He was also extremely close to having 60 girls returned, but another group kidnapped those girls in order to cash in on a huge reward offered by the police only 24 hours earlier.
